I remember the first earth day. I skipped school to clean the junk out of the creek running through Papillion, Nebraska. Then got caught by the cops skipping school who took me to the principles office. Then they figured I wasn't a radicle and drove me home. I hid out until my grandmother who was visiting at the time and putting laundry away opened the door and I was standing there and nearly gave her a heart attack.

Well, I did pick up a huge amount of trash today by the side of the road, and cleaned up the trash I drug out of the "swamp" into a heap to dry out and them dispose of in some other improper manner. Argh...
